AIRPORT WILDLIFE SPECIALIST - TUL
The Airport Wildlife Specialist is responsible for performing safe and efficient control and removal of wildlife hazards to aircraft in and around airport properties while complying with local, county, and Federal mandated regulations. The incumbent must meet all qualifications and be approved Wildlife Biologist per FAR 150/5200-36B or current version; maintain certification through an Airport Wildlife Hazard Management training course that is acceptable to the FAA Administrator. This is a non-exempt position subject to overtime and 24/7 call back. ARFF/AIRPORT OPERATIONS TECHNICIAN
ARFF/Airport Operations Technician Department: San Luis Valley Regional Airport (ALS) Location: 2490 State Street, Alamosa, CO 81101 Job Description: This position performs a variety of tasks including maintenance of terminal, runway upkeep, daily inspections for safety and maintenance, repairs and maintenance of facilities, radio contact with aircraft and much more. Must be willing and able to pass Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) training. The airport is a 365-day per year environment which requires rotating weekends and holidays. Salary is $16.70-17.70 per hour DOE. Full time hours (40) with full benefits. Must pass a drug test and background check. Open until filled. Alamosa County Application form required.
