AIRPORT OPERATIONS TECHNICIAN I
Essential Functions: - Inspects airport facilities; reports deficiencies, corrects and/or initiates follow up corrective action. - Acts as an overnight security; monitors and records late night aircraft activity, inventory, and record based and transient aircraft. - Maintains detailed written daily operations log/shift summary of inspections, incident reports and aircraft activity reports. Makes numerous database entries into the aviation database regarding inspections, incidents, landing fees, etc. - Communicates face to face and by radio with airport users including tenants, general public, tower personnel, co-workers and emergency agencies on airport safety procedures and regulations. - Responds to airfield incidents/accidents. Initiates and coordinates after-hours emergency plan. - Enforces airfield rules and regulations; investigates and follows up on complaints; issues notices of violation. - Enforces noise abatement policies and procedures. - Processes noise complaints. - Performs minor maintenance duties in support of the operations/maintenance unit.

The Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority (MNAA) is seeking an Assistant Vice President, Operations & Maintenance. This position oversees the Operations, Maintenance, Environmental, and Safety functions for the Nashville International (JWA) and John C. Tune Airports (JWN). A bachelor’s degree in aviation or a related field plus more than 10 years of progressive aviation leadership; A master’s degree in aviation or a related field (or an MBA), or the ability to obtain within three years of employment; A.A.E. accreditation from the American Association of Airport Executives (or ability to obtain within one year of hire).

AIRPORT OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR
PIE is located on Tampa Bay, north of St. Petersburg—the birthplace of commercial air transportation. The airport is a 2,000-acre fully certified facility with 2 runways. It is home to the busiest Coast Guard Air Station in the world. This is supervisory work coordinating the administration, operation and compliance of airside, terminal and landside activities to include the general oversight of public safety and security, airfield and terminal operations at St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport. Duties include assigning and directing the work activities of subordinate staff; assisting with FAA certification inspection and compliance and responding to airfield emergencies and incidents. St.Pete-Clearwater International Airport operates 24-hours per day, seven days a week; therefore, work involves rotating shifts, weekend work and holiday assignments. Incumbent must be available for 24-hour emergency response as required.
