PROGRAM SPECIALIST II (SECURITY SPECIALIST)
This position involves a wide variety of airport security-related duties for the St. Louis Lambert International Airport Security Operations Division to ensure compliance with the security requirements of Title 49 Code of Federal Regulations – 1542 series and TSA Security Directives. Duties include: Conducting airport inspections with emphasis on existing physical security measures and construction sites; Writing Temporary Change of Conditions to the Airport Security Program (ASP) for special events and assisting with other updates of ASP due to changes in conditions/regulations; assisting with badging operations; reviewing Tenant Construction Applications; writing security violations notices; coordinating activity for badge display challenge program; and collecting and analyzing data to create reports. AIRFIELD OPERATIONS SPECIALIST
Incumbent will monitor airfield and terminal activities to insure compliance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and internal operating procedures. Incumbent will monitor and operate communications equipment, respond to airfield and terminal emergencies and resolve tenant requests and complaints. AIRPORT MANAGEMENT INTERN
The Eagle County Regional Airport (EGE) is offering a 6-month airport management internship. This internship is an excellent opportunity to develop hands on day-to-day experience at a commercial airport. The commitment is not to be an observer, but to study and understand the principles and objectives inherent in the world of aviation and airport management. The Eagle County Regional Airport is a vital economic engine for Eagle County and surrounding mountain communities. The Airport is largely seasonal with the majority of flights scheduled during the winter months due to the Airport's proximity to world class ski resorts. The internship is 6 months in duration, July 15, 2019 - December 31, 2019, working normal business hours, Mon-Fri 8am-5pm. Weekends, evenings and holidays may be needed occasionally. Two weeks of unpaid time will be provided during the internship. Interns are not eligible for Eagle County benefits.
