MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR FOR JOHNSON COUNTY KANSAS AIRPORT COMMISSION

AVIATION PLANNER
Aviation Planning at GDA will include State System Plans, Airport Master Plans, Airport Layout Plans, Airport Terminal Area Plans, Environmental Assessments, and environmental sub-studies (like CATEXs). Required experience includes knowledge and application of all FAA guidance documents, rules, regulations, and procedures to develop full Airport Master Plans and environmental documents. The Aviation Planner will apply acquired aviation knowledge to match communities with right-sized airports. The successful applicant will have an experiential understanding of accepted data gathering and forecasting techniques, development of alternatives and opportunities, and in the development of Airport Layout Plans. A broad understanding of aviation, on and off the airport, is expected. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required. The ability to lead public outreach and interaction is essential. EQUIPMENT TECHNICIAN
Charlottesville Albemarle Airport Authority is seeking an experienced diesel/gasoline mechanic for the position of Equipment Technician for the Airport. Responsibilities include repairs and preventive maintenance on all vehicles and airport equipment to include heavy-duty equipment such as dump trucks, snow plows and Aircraft firefighting vehicles and ground maintenance equipment such as mowers and tractors. This position serves as a member of aircraft rescue and firefighting (ARFF) team for CHO Airport. Successful applicant required to pass Aircraft Rescue & Firefighting certification which is provided in-house within 1 year of hire date and required to maintain certification. On-call snow/ice removal is required. Schedules may include weekdays, weekends, evening shifts and holidays.
