AIRPORT OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR

AIRPORT OPERATIONS REPRESENTATIVE II
Provides a variety of services related to proper airport operations and assuring that airport operations are carried out safely and in accordance with regulations and policies. Oversees and inspects aircraft operating areas at the airport for compliance with established Federal Aviation Agency (FAA) and City policies and regulations. Inspects runways, taxiways, aprons, and ramps for proper and safe operations and for hazards; directs the removal of disabled aircraft; investigates injuries; directs snow removal according to plan; coordinates safety procedures; prepares reports; and processes associated paperwork. This is a fully seasoned skilled level capable of independently carrying out most assignments typical of the discipline. This level would be attainable by multiple incumbents in a work group (not necessarily by all), but would not be an "automatic" promotional level.

AIRPORT OPERATIONS COORDINATOR
The main responsibility of the Airport Operations Coordinator is to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the Brandon Municipal Airport. This is a key leadership position that builds a workplace culture that is mutually respectful, productive and engaging within a predominately unionized work environment. This includes supporting staff and making sure that all personnel (internal and external) understand and follow all airport policies and procedures. The operations of the airport must comply with all Canadian Aviation regulations and procedures, or face non-compliance orders from regulatory bodies such as Transport Canada. This position is also involved in the setting of long and short range goals, budget preparations, policies and staffing controls that are aligned with the City of Brandon’s commitment to serving and building community.

AIRPORT OPERATIONS OFFICER
Under the general supervision of Airport Manager. Inspects work of airfield operations technician/maintenance staff. Assists with and performs airfield operations and performs other tasks to ensure compliance with FAA/TSA standards; responsible for documentation of time, invoices, bills, and receipts. Responds to and assists with control of airport disasters and emergencies at or near the San Luis Valley Regional Airport. Will be a part of Airport Operations team. A bachelor degree in Aviation Management, Business Management, or similar field is recommended. Ability to become an AAAE Airport Certified Employee in Airfield Operations within 1 year of hire is required. FAA Pilot Certificate or flying experience is favorable. Full time, full benefits.
