ASSISTANT AIRPORT OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR
Oversees all aspects of Airport Operations including but not limited to; Airport Self Inspection; NOTAM management; Airport Certification Manual; Airport Signage & Marking Plan; Wildlife Hazard Management; Airport Layout Plan & Revisions; Prepares & submits documents as required to the FAA; Supervises operations employees whom also function as Fire Safety Officers & Maintenance Mechanics; Coordinates with contractors in all phases construction to assure compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations regarding safety, utility protection, vehicle access, and security; coordinates safety meetings and emergency training procedures; Planning, assigning, & coordinating activities of personnel involved in airport security, fire rescue, & maintenance; Coordinates and supervises airport operations pertaining to airlines, FAA, and all other operational related personnel; Coordinates and supervises airport personnel during snow removal operations and airport emergencies; Preparation of Grant Applications; Performs related work as required by the Dir. of Operations, Commissioner, and Deputy Commissioner of Aviation.

OPERATIONS SPECIALIST I
Blue Grass Airport in Lexington, Kentucky is conducting a search for an Operations Specialist I. This is an entry level position, under direct supervision, that manages the use of airport facilities in accordance with established policies and procedures. This position assures safety and security compliance with Federal Aviation Regulation (FAR) Parts 77 and 139, Transportation Security Regulation (TSR) Part 1542, as well as various other guidance policies. Duties include a constant monitoring of all facilities, personnel, and operations; routine and non-routine inspections of the airfield for unsafe or non-compliant conditions; serves critical functions of the airport Integrated Operations and Coordination Center (IOCC); actively monitors security access control and CCTV systems; issues airport ID media and facilitates ID applicant background searches; coordinates and monitors airport construction activities; provides a high level of customer service in responding to questions and inquiries from the public, airport stakeholders, and/or governmental regulatory agencies.
