06/06/21 AIRPORT OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR The Airport Operations Supervisor supervises a team of Airport Operations Specialists, ensuring the Boise Airport maintains Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certification and compliance. Monitors and enforces Transportation Security Administration (TSA) 49 CFR Part 1542, Airport Security regulations and Federal Aviation Regulation (FAR) Part 139. Work requires considerable independence and is performed under general direction. Essential Functions Is the primary Incident Commander for winter operations and serves in an on call capacity during the winter season on a rotating basis. Performs inspections of airfield and airport property. Ensures compliance with TSA 1542 through airport terminal and perimeter security inspections, and taking appropriate enforcement actions. Responds to all emergency and medical incidents that occur at the Boise Airport. Supervisory responsibilities: Employees in this position are authorized to recommend and/or effect the full range of duties (with appropriate managerial review), including hiring, evaluations, promoting, assigning of duties, rewarding, disciplining and terminating employment.
