AIRPORT PLANNER
Airport Planner City of Tallahassee, Aviation Department Apply on or before 5pm EST 7/5/2019 Salary Range $19.56 to $44.82/hourly. Hiring rate generally will not exceed $33.64/hour Essential Job Duties Development, implementation and management of TLH’s various planning studies, and the Airport's Capital Improvement Program (CIP). Conducting planning research and technical work related to airport operations, airspace analysis, and land-use compatibility. Possess and maintain current knowledge about FAA and FDOT processes and procedures, including but not limited to the Airport Improvement Program, associated FAA Advisory Circulars, Grant Assurances, Airline Operating Agreements, and Airport Master Plans. Assisting the Airport Engineer and other Airport division managers as needed on other related Airport projects and work, particularly those related to development issues. Excellent communication and problem resolution skills are essential to this position needs of the department. Performs related work as required.

Assistant Superintendent-Airport Facilities Management City of Tallahassee, Aviation Department Apply on or before 5pm EST 6/21/2019 Salary Range $22.62 to $52.01/hourly. Hiring rate generally will not exceed $43.04/hour Essential Job Duties This is responsible administrative, supervisory and technical work directing the maintenance of the Tallahassee International Airport Passenger Terminal Building and all other airport facilities. Duties include directing and supervising electricians, building services, mechanical maintenance, grounds maintenance and administrative staff. In addition, this position serves as liaison with contractors and service providers on minor repair, service and maintenance contracts. The incumbent assists in the day-to-day direction of the division and serves as the division superintendent, as necessary. Work is performed with independence under the general direction the Superintendent-Airport Facilities Management and is reviewed through conferences, analysis of work and reports, and observation of results achieved. Performs related work as required.
