AIRPORTS OPERATIONS OFFICER (2 Positions)
Interprets and enforces federal, state, local rules and regulations applicable to airport operations; responds to emergencies; compiles/monitors flight schedules and coordinates them with air carriers; monitors aircraft operations. Performs airfield, terminal and landside inspections as required by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA); ensures Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) and lease agreements compliance; responds to tenants/public inquiries and complaints; prepares related reports; works under the general direction of the Manager of Airport Operations and is reviewed via personal consultation, written reports and conferences. AIRPORT PROPERTIES OFFICER
Under the general direction of the Deputy Director, Long Beach, the Airport Properties Officer is responsible for and oversees the operation of the Airport's Properties Division by providing day-to-day direction to and supervision of support staff in the division. The successful candidate will be a highly organized professional who is experienced in project management, contract management, and real estate services. This position requires occasional attendance at evening and weekend meetings. The Airport Properties Officer is an at-will, management position. He/she will supervise a staff involved in the following: manages Airport Ground Leases, including negotiation of lease extensions, rent adjustments, lease interpretation, lease compliance, and any due diligence activities for City-owned property under the jurisdiction of the Airport; Provides oversight of consultant and vendor contracts for real estate and property management services; Assists in budget development and financial tracking for the Division; Provides for project management of special projects or assignments.

SENIOR TRANSPORTATION ENGINEER/PLANNER
Ricondo & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Senior Transportation Engineer/Planner who will be responsible for performing technical studies and analyses related to airport facilities planning with an emphasis on ground transportation, parking facilities, terminals, and airport support facilities. Key responsibilities include: capacity analysis and requirements for ground airport facilities, alternatives development, layout plans and CAD support. Consults with employees and senior staff concerning the compilation, interpretation, and presentation of research data for airport planning studies. Prepares draft sections of reports and deliverables based on verbal and written inputs from others and individual efforts. Assists in developing, formatting, publishing, and distributing tables, charts, manuals, and maps that deal with existing and proposed airport planning studies. Provides advice, technical assistance, and written recommendations on studies. Develops and maintains electronic data sets, files, runs and troubleshoots existing programs. Responds to requests for data and information from internal staff and external clients, organizations, and various agencies.
