SUPERVISING ENGINEER
Supervises and reviews the design and construction of Public Works projects at the Santa Barbara Airport (SBA). Oversees the work of consultants, contractors, and technical staff in the design and construction of public improvements and capital maintenance projects. Manages and participates in the preparation of plans, specifications, cost and quarterly estimates, and bid documents; negotiates terms and fees and approves contractor and consultant pay requests. Manages, coordinates and schedules projects and oversees the maintenance of records, maps and construction project documents. Monitors and controls expenditures, tracks staff time and budgets. Solves controversial and complex technical and logistical problems for engineering staff, developers and builders. EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION: Three years of experience working primarily on projects regulated by the FAA. LICENSE: CA registration as a PE highly desired. APPLICATION DUE BY 5:30 P.M. IT FIELD ENGINEER/INSPECTOR SALT LAKE CITY
Construction Field Engineer - IT Special Systems the candidate must have extensive field engineering experience to verify installation conformance with plans and specifications, participate in certification testing and commissioning, be able to assist with field decisions and help resolve construction conflicts on all Airport Redevelopment Program (ARP) projects. Candidate will be responsible for the successful delivery of assigned systems, construction coordination, quality assurance, change order request evaulation and review and comment on submittals, bulletins, as-built drawings, contractor invoices and close out documentation. Extensive technology experience with and knowledge of Airport IT Systems including; card access control, security door hardware, video surviellance and public address is required. Experience with cabling, audio/visual systems, networking and building automation is desirable.

AIRPORT OPERATIONS INTERNSHIP
The Airport Intern must be receiving college credits & be studying in Aviation Management or a related field in order to qualify for this position The Airport Intern will join the Aspen/Pitkin County Airport team to complete a 12 week internship which covers all aspects of airport operation including wildlife and wetlands management, snow and ice removal, USDA, FAA and TSA regulations; ARFF, landside and airside operations to include line management & badging. The intern will also complete an airport related project which will be assigned based on the operational needs of the Airport. This position will be working a variety of shifts to include some late nights and early mornings. Aspen/Pitkin County Airport will select one intern for our summer season and one intern for Fall semester. Hiring Range: $16 to $20 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
