GENERAL AVIATION OFFICER
The General Aviation Officer is responsible for the development, promotion and conduct of general aviation activities in the State of Hawaii including the establishment of rules, regulations, standards and operational procedures. Drafts and recommends plans for promoting the establishment and location of light aircraft landing fields and provides technical advice, direction and information of such facilities. Promotes general aviation through activities in public education; develops flying safety through operational procedures in cooperation with general aviation users and the Federal Aviation Agency; and recommends procedures for the licensing of private landing fields.

Applicants who meet the minimum qualifications will have their supplemental responses scored by subject matter experts the week of July 12, 2021. 4. The most qualified applicants from the scoring of the supplemental questions will be invited for an Oral Panel Interview. Oral Panel Interviews are tentatively scheduled to take place the week of July 26, 2021.
