You will gain dynamic experience at a busy and self-reliant general aviation airport which serves a diverse community while developing the next generation of airport professionals. This supervisory position is responsible for coordinating daily work activities including airfield, grounds, and general building maintenance. The incumbent reports directly to the McKinnon-St. Simons Island Airport Manager, assists with oversight of construction activity, oversees preventative maintenance, and the asset inventory program for SSI. This position serves as a liaison between tenants, general public, and airport administration and is also responsible for monitoring daily airport activity, recommending and implementing safety enhancements, purchasing and proposal creation, and developing/overseeing operational plans.
