AIRPORT CHIEF ENGINEER

AIRCRAFT RESCUE CHIEF (ARFF)

Under administrative direction, leads, directs and coordinates the functions and daily activities of the Airport Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) section for Cleveland Hopkins International and Burke Lakefront Airports. Commands and directs all emergency aircraft incidents and EMS operations on airport property including but limited to; aircraft emergencies, building fires, HAZMET emergencies, and Weapons of Mass Destruction/Infrared Explosive Devices (WMD/IED) emergencies. Ensures the development and execution of all regulatory and other training programs related to airport firefighting, EMS and airport disaster pre-planning. Develops and conducts all tabletop and live drills as required by the Airport Emergency Plan (AEP).

AIRPORT MANAGER
The City of Quincy, Illinois (population 40,915) seeks an Airport Manager for the Quincy Regional Airport. The property consists of 1,100 acres with two 5,400 ft. and one 7,100 ft. runways with modern design. Typical commercial aircraft consist of 50 seat passenger planes. The facility includes a 20,000 sq. ft. terminal and separate maintenance buildings. Current service offers daily flights to Chicago. The individual selected will be responsible for the overall administration of the airport. Plans, directs, and coordinates the operations, construction, and maintenance of airport facilities in accordance with FAA Part 139 & TSA Part 1520 rules, regulations, and policies. Ensures that all aspects of the airport are functioning within these regulations. Responsible for maintaining a safe and efficient operating environment. This is a highly visible position requiring excellent communication skills.
