The Allegheny County Airport Authority is seeking a VP, Public Safety & Security. Will provide leadership and strategic direction through the management and development of emergency preparedness, fire and security functions, including oversight of all public safety programs at Pittsburg International Airport (PIT) and Allegheny County Airport (AGC). He/she will act as primary liaison with all law enforcement and mutual aid organizations to foster continuity of positive professional relationships, and that the Authority is prepared for current and emerging conditions related to the industry and region to ensure the protection and safety of the traveling public and employees. Must have minimum education/training/experience to qualify for this job. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in aviation management, law enforcement, emergency management or related field. AIRPORT PUBLIC SAFETY COMPLIANCE OFFICER
Develops, implements and supervises a comprehensive Aircraft Rescue Firefighting and Emergency Medical Services training curriculum in compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations, Part 139 and the State of Ohio Department of Public Safety. Provides fire prevention and suppression to all City of Dayton Aviation Facilities. Supervises the required training hours and topics required to maintain their certifications. The incumbent will oversee the Annual Review of the Airport Emergency Plan (required by the FAA) and the Full-Scale Disaster Exercise. The incumbent will play an active role in Disaster Planning and serve as a Liaison with the Dayton Fire Department, Montgomery County Regional Dispatch Center and as the Dayton Airshow Emergency Coordinator. AIRPORT MANAGER
The Airport Manager is responsible for the overall management and operations of the Brooksville-Tampa Bay Regional Airport and Technology Center. The airport is 2,400-acre master-planned facility that includes over 180 based aircraft with 125+ businesses located within the Technology Center. The facility is the economic hub of Hernando County with $110M+ in ad valorem taxable values. The Airport completed over $20M in improvements including air traffic control tower, new hangar construction, replacement instrument landing system, infrastructure improvements for both landside and airside development. The Airport Manager oversees all operations of the facility in accordance with all federal, state, and local regulations and is closely aligned with the Office of Economic Development for business recruitment, retention, and expansion opportunities within the Airport and Technology Center. The position develops and implements the annual budget and capital improvements program. The Airport is considered a self-sustaining enterprise fund within Hernando County.

OPERATIONS & MAINTENANCE SPECIALIST
This is a cross-utilized position with operations, maintenance and ARFF duties. Perform semi-skilled and skilled tasks in the maintenance and repair of airport vehicles, equipment, buildings and grounds. Operate heavy, medium and light machinery; conduct periodic airport safety and security inspections; perform custodial and janitorial duties; work closely with airport tenants; make call-outs to the airport during non-duty hours; respond to the needs of the general public; perform any other related work as deemed necessary by the Airport Manager. You will be provided basic fire training which you must successfully complete in order to perform duties as a first responder for airport emergencies; complete and perform monthly Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) training and recurrent training; perform daily ARFF duties which includes providing standby firefighting coverage during commercial airline flights; be able to use the Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) gear; ability to learn and operate three different ARFF trucks.
