AIRPORT OPERATIONS SECURITY SUPERVISOR
Pitkin County is seeking an Airport Operations Security Supervisor who will ensure compliance with federal, state and local requirements for commercial airports by performing routine efforts of the operations staff, both airside and landside. Is a visible presence representing the County and Airport Administration, providing outstanding customer service to Airport users and the broader Airport community, including: vendors, concessionaires, airlines, tenants and the general public. Provides guidance, coaching, and leadership to a work crew as assigned. Duties may vary according to job assignment.

SUPERVISING AVIATION SECURITY COORDINATOR
This position manages security programs for our five (5) airports and ensures a consistent approach at all airports. Serve as the departmental expert and coordinator on issues and operations related to general aviation security and air cargo at each of the airports, including researching and analyzing current and proposed national regulations concerning general aviation security and air cargo, serving as a departmental liaison on selected topics to the national TSA and the state of NY and NJ’s offices of aviation, and serving as a resource on these topics to aviation staff and to other Port Authority Departments. The position will produce position papers for executive policy decision-making, regarding security for air cargo and General Aviation operations. In addition, you will produce analyses of General Aviation security regulations and their impact on Port Authority airport operations and cost impact on operating and capital budgets. PROJECT MANAGER - CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS (ABE)
Assists in the development, coordination and implementation of the overall Airport Authority Capital Improvement Program. Assists the department in submitting grant applications, monitoring grant progress, and reviewing invoices/pay applications. Multi-year capital planning coordination of the program with both internal and external stakeholders is required. Coordinates with the Authority's on-call consultants and on-site engineers to ensure projects are on-time and on-budget; monitors progress and budget expended as it relates to the Capital Program Master Schedule. Prepares and/or reviews scope and fees, bid documents, project plans and specifications as necessary for the Capital Improvement Program. Attends and participates in pre-bid meetings, bid openings and pre-construction meetings and negotiations. Obtains permits on behalf of the Airport as necessary. Works with all departments and team members to ensure projects are being done per the Authority Construction Permitting Manual. Other duties as assigned.
