AVIATION SPECIALIST lll - GROUND TRANSPORTATION
The Ground Transportation Aviation Supervisor III is responsible for management of the Lost and Found Office at the airport. This position supervises nine staff members in the management of day-to-day operations, permitting, and enforcement of Ground Transportation providers to ensure adherence to policies and procedures, compliance, and records auditing: and contract compliance for large service contracts. Salary: $57,075 - $86,902 annually (eff. July 12, 2021) + benefits Required: Four years’ experience in aviation management, airport operations, airlines operations, or a related discipline, two years of supervisory experience; and an Associate degree in public, business, or airport administration, or a related field. Must be able to work irregular hours, weekends, holidays, and evenings. Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in airport administration, business, or related field; or equivalent experience and possess a A.A.E., C.M., A.C.E., or other industry-specific certifications.

AIRPORT OPERATIONS SPECIALIST
Airport Operations Specialist performs safety inspections for FAA airport certification. Inspections are required to maintain the airport's operating certificate. The position’s objective is to ensure the airfield is operated and maintained according to certification requirements of the FAA. This involves: Inspect airfield to ensure compliance with FAA Parts 139 and 77 and TSAR Part 1542. Conduct inspections of landside, terminal facilities for safety and security. Perform wildlife control, SMS functions. Inspect for wildlife hazards and mitigate; files FAA, Airport paperwork. Works with airfield maintenance and electrical sections to ensure repairs and maintenance are within FAA tolerances. Monitor Airport for compliance with Federal, State and Local Laws. Inspect and monitor terminal, landside and tenant leased areas for compliance with rules and regulations and lease terms. Respond to emergencies and responsible for decisions and coordinating emergency activities. May perform other duties as assigned.

Executive Assistant I (Airport Safety Management Systems (“SMS”) Coordinator) St. Louis Lambert International Airport Position Overview: This position requires a working knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations, FAR Part 139, airport operations, airport management and airport Safety Management Systems (SMS). The Airport Planner is a full-time position for the Syracuse Regional Airport Authority which conducts, analyzes, studies and develops plans to effectively implement capital projects at Syracuse Hancock International Airport related to facility utilization, land use and/or transportation initiatives, and other operational requirements consistent with business objectives. ARFF/OPERATIONS TECHNICIAN
Performs duties associated with daily operation of airport facilities, maintains a safe environment for aircraft and the general public on an assigned shift, including nights, weekends, and holidays; responds to aircraft emergencies; provides aircraft rescue and firefighting services; performs emergency medical treatment. Performs airfield operations duties per 14 CFR Part 139 regulations. Performs perimeter and facility security, parking enforcement and other airport security related issues. Monitors runway conditions for snow and ice contamination and initiates and conducts airside and landside snow removal. Minimum High School diploma or GED. Associate or Bachelor’s degree in aviation preferred. One to two years of progressively responsible related experience in aviation, safety, security, firefighting, or a combination of education training and experience to perform the position duties and responsibilities.
