AVIATION ASSISTANT DIRECTOR
TYPICAL DUTIES: Plan, organize, implement, direct and review airport property usage and appraisals. Involves: Recommend rental rates and charges, and forecast revenues and costs associated with leasing airport properties. Negotiate leases and rental agreements. Advise and assist tenants. Initiate collection procedures against delinquent lessees. Prepare related reports and correspondence for presentation to Mayor and Council. Research and recommend airport property leasing, sales or acquisition policy interest. Recommend and arrange for approval of leasehold development and improvement. Schedule and direct inspection of premises to ensure tenant compliance with lease requirements. Acts as a liaison between Department and domestic and international airline representatives. Plan, organize, implement, direct and review department financial administration. Involves: Oversee record keeping and preparation of accounting reports and financial statements within City's approved accounting systems. Direct department inventories and warehouse activities. Conduct cost-benefit, statistical or other analyses, and recommend funding program improvements and staffing changes.

AIRPORT SECURITY SPECIALIST
In this position, you will ensure compliance with all TSA regulations pertaining to airport security. You will also maintain and supervise all badging operations and recordkeeping. Essential Job Functions. Process fingerprint records; review background investigations; maintain appropriate sensitive and/or restrictive records; maintain and organize confidential information. Update and write security amendments and security plan; review existing and new security directives; ensure compliance with federal regulations, and maintain various security department accreditations and programs. Coordinate with TSA to process sensitive security information; disseminate information to air carriers and airport, and maintain and gather information for audits and inspections. Conduct security training for airport personnel and tenants. Serve as liaison with airport management, airline managers, TSA personnel, airport tenants, and various CSPD (Colorado Springs Police Department) divisions. Serve as an Airport Security Coordinator (ASC) for the Airport. Supervise badging staff; ensure effective customer service.
