SENIOR PUBLIC INFORMATION MANAGER

Mineta San José International Airport is recruiting for an Assistant Public Information Manager to support the Airport’s earned media and community engagement. The incumbent will work closely with a team of creative professionals to develop, execute and continually evaluate the Airport’s public engagement and media relations initiatives to increase awareness of the Airport’s value to the communities it serves. The position will utilize existing and identify new communication channels to promote SJC’s ongoing passenger growth, Capital Improvement Program planning and implementation, and passenger service and facility enhancements and/or impacts to the traveling public. They will build and maintain strong and collaborative relationships with a variety of internal and external Airport stakeholders. The incumbent will also be relied upon to assist with planning and executing other aspects of the Airport’s marketing, communication, and customer experience initiatives.

SUPERVISING APPLICATIONS ANALYST

The Airport Department is currently recruiting to fill a Supervising Applications Analyst vacancy within the Airport Technology Services Section. The Supervising Applications Analyst position at Mineta San José International Airport manages a team of three. This position will serve as the Airport’s IT Infrastructure Manager and be responsible for developing, maintaining, supporting the Airport’s infrastructure, the network infrastructure, data communications, and telecommunications systems. The position will also ensure that critical Airport IT Infrastructure projects are managed and implemented within required time, cost, and scope. In addition, the position will be responsible for defining, managing, and enforcing the Airport’s Information Systems Security Standards within the Airport’s IT infrastructure and networks.

DIVISION MANAGER, AIRPORT ADMINISTRATION
This position prepares and administers the operating and capital budget. The incumbent prepares and administers the airline rates and changes as well as the airline settlements,establishes work priorities for staff within the division. The incumbent can recommend the rewarding, discipline and adjustment of grievances of subordinates. Incumbent participates with top department and City management in establishing goals and general parameters to monitor and measure performance standards of the department’s day-to-day operations. The incumbent is responsible for all pertinent administrative and fiscal responsibilities associated with programs and services within the department such as purchase order submission, contracts and invoices, supply ordering, revenue expense tracking and information on the cost center. The incumbent assists with the financial arrangements for lease negotiations to ensure levels of revenue are sufficient to meet expenses and service debts, manages the flow of statistical data relative to personnel and revenue collection, and oversees the administration of grants.
