FINANCE MANAGER
Syracuse Regional Airport Authority, operator of the Syracuse Hancock International Airport, is seeking candidates for an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Finance Manager. This position reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer and is responsible oversight of accounting, both accounts receivable, accounts payable, and purchasing, monthly end close procedures, and internal controls, and oversees the accounting support staff. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of modern best practices in accounting, auditing, business management and administration, including debt and investment management, and generally accepted accounting procedures (GAAP), along with excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Must be well versed in Microsoft Suite, especially Excel. Previous experience in public sector accounting is preferred but not required.
