Our client, the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (Airports Authority), is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic leader to fill the position of Vice President and Airport Manager for Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD). Reporting to the EVP and COO, the Vice President and Airport Manager for IAD directs a wide range of operational, maintenance, construction, commercial and business management and administrative activities occurring onsite at IAD and for the Dulles Toll Road (DTR) and serves as a principal advisor to the EVP and COO on IAD and DTR activities. Additionally, s/he and facilitates coordination of the the Metrorail construction impacts on IAD and the DTR, efforts that are expected to continue to at least 2020. Through a team of Department Managers, s/he directs the work of employees engaged in Airport operations, professional engineering, utility operations, maintenance trades, administrative and business management, and support activities.
