AIRPORT OPERATIONS OFFICER
Interprets and enforces Federal, State, local rules and regulations applicable to airport operations; responds to emergencies; compiles/monitors flight schedules and coordinates them with air carriers; monitors aircraft operations. Performs airfield, terminal and landside inspections as required by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA); ensures Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) and lease agreement compliance; responds to tenants/public inquiries and complaints; prepares related reports; works under the general direction of the Supervisor of Airport Operations and is reviewed via personal consultation, written reports and conferences. General Job Description The Horry County Department of Airports maintains and operates a proprietary, shared-use/common-use system for its airline tenants which incorporates all computers, phones, displays and networks throughout the airport. The Airport Network Technician is responsible for the maintenance and operation of the shared-use/common-use system as well as other workstations, servers and network infrastructure within the Department of Airports. The Airport Network Technician provides end-user technical support and serves as the main point of contact for technical issues. This position reports directly to the Airport Technology Manager. Duties for this Position •Provides a high level of customer service and support to airport staff, airlines and tenants. •Installation, configuration, maintenance and operation of all information systems within the Department of Airports including networking, telephony, access control, virtualization, Active Directory, and miscellaneous hardware and software •Other duties as directed by management
