AIRPORT PRINCIPAL PLANNER
Performs highly complex professional airport planning activities involving advanced planning and special projects. Work involves assisting in directing, coordinating, and overseeing the activities and operations of assigned section. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Oversees and performs highly complex and sensitive planning projects, research and analysis in accordance with strategic long and short range planning activities of the San Antonio International and Stinson airports. Participates in development and administration of Aviation Department development goals, objectives, policies and procedures. Directs, coordinates, reviews and participates with professional and technical staff collecting data, analysis, plan formulation and implementation. Monitors and evaluates implementation of different development programs, projects and activities to ensure compliance with local, state and federal laws. Reviews statistical reports and analyzes market and economic conditions. Reviews and administers project budgets. Provides policy direction on planning programs and development applications. Recommends use of land for residential, commercial, industrial and community uses. Oversees development review process.

AIRPORT OPERATIONS SPECIALIST INTERN
The Airport Operations Specialist Internship Program is designed to introduce future airport managers to the many facets of managing and operating a Commercial Service Airport. The intern is assigned to work under general direction of the Deputy Director of Operations and Facilities and will be immersed in a variety of projects relating directly to airport operations and security. Work is reviewed through daily activities, projects, conference and analysis of report. Internships shall be twenty-four (24) weeks in length. Responsibilities and training experiences include: Airside, Terminal and Landside operations; daily inspections; coordination of and response to emergency situations; NOTAM management; wildlife management; snow removal; serves as a liaison between airport management, tenants and the public; prepares appropriate security badges, implements and updates the Airport Certification Manual.

AIRPORT OPERATIONS AND SECURITY INTERNSHIP
The Jackson Hole Airport is seeking an Intern for a 6-month period to work with our Operations and Security teams. This position offers a broad exposure to airport operations and security in a unique setting at the only commercial service airport located in a national park. Duties may include airside and landside operations, airfield inspection, fuel farm operations, ARFF duties, maintenance (grounds and building), assisting the Airport Security Coordinator, assisting in the coordination of parking lot management, and many other duties as assigned. In short, the Jackson Hole Airport is a dynamic organization and you may be involved in any number of projects, planned or unplanned, based on business needs.
