VICE-PRESIDENT OF PLANNING, ENGINEERING & ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT
The Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority (RTAA) is seeking an individual with management experience directing the planning, design and/or construction of large public works projects to lead a diligent and capable team as the Vice-President of Planning, Engineering and Environmental Management (VP). OPERATIONS OFFICER
The Operations Officer, with guidance from Senior Operations Officers, conducts daily inspections, patrols and other functions associated with Airport Operations, which assures the Airport’s compliance with Federal, State and Local regulations. •Responsible for conducting inspections and reporting any condition which may affect safe operations of air carrier aircraft: i.e., pavement conditions; safety areas; marking and lighting; unpaved areas; snow, ice conditions; aircraft rescue and fire fighting capability; handling and storage of hazardous materials; traffic and wind direction indicators; ground vehicle operations; wildlife hazards; obstructions; protection of NAVAIDs; identifying, marking and reporting construction areas; public protection are areas of primary concern during daily inspections in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulation 139. •Responsible for conducting security patrols of Air Operations Area (AOA), gates, doors or other areas allowing access to AOA in accordance with TSAR 1542 and other applicable publications, and assist NYS Police in law enforcement activities on Airport property.
