AIRCRAFT RESCUE FIREFIGHTING CHIEF
Aircraft rescue and firefighting (ARFF) is a special category of firefighting involving the response, hazard mitigation, evacuation and possible rescue of passengers and crew of an aircraft involved in an airport ground emergency. This position consists of highly responsible supervisory administrative and technical work directing and coordinating the Airport Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services response in accordance with federal, state and local guidelines. Work includes budget planning, purchasing, training, coordination of equipment maintenance and related work as required. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Maintaining compliance with Part 139 ARFF Response and Training requirements, and other applicable federal, state and local laws, rules, guidelines and requirements Manages plans, organizes, and directs through supervisors, departmental operations in the functions of fire suppression and prevention; emergency medical services; hazardous materials and rescue response; budgeting, personnel management, program development and implementation; equipment maintenance and use; policies and procedures development and implementation.

AIRPORT OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR
An entry level position that is responsible for the performance of airfield, perimeter, terminal and grounds inspections. The Airport Operations Supervisor works rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays. General responsibilities include but not limited to the enforcement and compliance with Federal Aviation Regulation Part 139, Transportation Security Regulation 1542, other federal regulations, airport system rules, policies, procedures, leases and agreements. The incumbent will provide customer service to airport users, coordinate with airport tenants and customers in the resolution of concerns, and coordinate after-hours maintenance and/or monitor emergency repairs to critical equipment and infrastructure. Responsibilities include: Compiles, maintains, and reports daily shift activities in the Airport Safety and Operations Compliance System (ASOCS). Recognizes safety and security concerns as defined by the Airport Certification Manual and affecting air carrier operations. Issues NOTAMs as required for changing airfield conditions. Coordinates and monitors daily construction activities on the airfield.

AIRPORT OPERATIONS COORDINATOR
Under the general supervision of the Operations Supervisor, performs a variety of duties as dictated by operational requirements of both the Middle Georgia Regional Airport and Macon Downtown Airport. Conducts daily airfield inspections, identifying and reporting airfield deficiencies, implements the Wildlife Hazard Management Program, and responds to all emergency alerts. Ensuring airfield security is maintained and provide escort to pedestrians and vehicles in secured areas. Issuing, recording, and monitoring all NOTAMS, via FAA Digital NOTAM Manager. Acts as liaison with all responding agencies during emergency situations. Monitoring daily weather and provides tenants with severe weather notifications. May be asked to assist maintenance personnel with projects and operate heavy equipment on occasion. May be asked to assist management with marketing, business development, air service development, IT/social media, and/or other areas of airport management.
