07/17/17 NOISE ABATEMENT AND ENVIRONMENTAL COMPLIANCE SPECIALIST AFCO AvPORTS Management LLC is seeking a Noise Abatement and Environmental Compliance Specialist for Teterboro Airport. This position assists in developing and operating the Airport’s Noise Abatement and Environmental Office and includes the following duties: Operate and oversee the Airport Noise Monitoring System (ANMS) which includes coordination of maintenance and repair of noise monitoring equipment. Manage and respond to noise complaint calls and as necessary, perform appropriate investigations and prepare reports. Maintain accurate records of noise violations and prepare appropriate warning letters, notices of violations, revocation of privileges and appeal correspondence. Compile all pertinent aircraft movement and noise data and produce periodic reports for various airport stakeholders. Directly support the Storm Water Management program including water sampling, performing environmental Best Management Practices inspections, and ensuring compliance with NJPDES permit requirements.
