The Custodial Operations Manager (overnight position) with the City of Philadelphia – Philadelphia International Airport, is now open for applications! The employee in this class directs, through subordinate supervisors, a large number of supervisory staff, semi skilled and unskilled workers and is responsible for managing human capital, budgeting, resource allocation, requisitioning and stores activities necessary to support a major custodial services operation. AIRPORT OPERATIONS REPRESENTATIVE II (AIRSIDE)
This position ensures that airport operations are carried out safely and efficiently and in accordance with pertinent regulations and policies. Routine duties include inspecting the aircraft operating areas, responding to emergencies, coordinating airfield construction and maintenance activities, issuing NOTAMs, preparing and disseminating reports and other communication to stakeholders, and ensuring the Airport Certification Manual, Airport Emergency Plan, and other required documents remain current at all times. This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Airport Management, or a closely related field and a minimum of two years of progressively responsible FAR Part 139 airport operations experience.
