OPERATIONS SPECIALIST
The Huntsville-Madison Airport Authority is accepting applications for the position of Operations Specialist. Duties include airside and landside inspections, periodic safety and quality control inspections of aviation fuel storage facility and fueling operations, safety and environmental compliance, emergency response, NOTAM management, wildlife management, and Communications Coordinator duties on an as-needed basis. Communications Coordinator duties include security system monitoring, responding to Operations and Security related issues, and Public Safety dispatch. Candidates should be familiar with FAR Parts 139 & 77 and with TSAR 1540 series. This position is required to work a rotating schedule, including second and third shift, weekends, and on-call. Individual will serve as liaison between airport management, tenants, and the public. AIRPORTS OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR
Hours: 40 Variable hours/week; will be required to work rotating shifts, holidays, weekends, stand-by, and midnights. Other: Ability to lift 50 pounds preferred. Requires successful completion of DHS Criminal History Records Check and Security Threat Assessment prior to appointment and the ability to maintain these clearances as a condition of employment. Performs specialized operational work at PBIA and three (3) other Palm Beach County (PBC) general aviation airports involving supervisory responsibilities. Plans, coordinates, directs, supervises, trains, evaluates and monitors the work of Airport Operations personnel in Landside, Airside and Terminal Operations. Ensures PBC Airports operate and are maintained in accordance with all PBC lease agreements, local ordinances, fire codes, state/federal laws, rules and regulations. Maintains the Airport Certification Manual/Security Plans. Work is performed under the general direction of the Manager, Airport Operations, and is reviewed by personal consultation, conferences and written reports. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation Management or closely related field; minimum of two (2) years of experience at a Federal Aviation Regulation (FAR) Part 139 commercial service airport performing airport operations duties.

DIRECTOR OF COMMERCIAL CORPORATE REAL ESTATE
Overview and Responsibilities This Director will manage a team of staff resources responsible for delivering design and construction on large scale commercial, airport, and non-airport development projects. Lead teams in feasibility studies, programming, cost estimating, master planning, conceptual and detail design, workplace studies, and execution of infrastructure related modification projects to confirm they are completed on time, on budget, within quality and safety standards. Will confirm projects are completed in compliance with all United’s needs as well as the following: airport operational needs, corporate guidelines, jurisdictional codes, design intent for aesthetics and durability, airport lease requirements,obligations and regulations to which the airline is bound. This leader will lead both internal and external stakeholders and United Executive Leadership to understand and implement large-scale initiatives in-line with achieving our corporate vision. Director will implement long-term capital planning strategies, including growth and reduction, preventative and critical maintenance in support of critical building assets.
