AIRPORT SECURITY PROGRAM MANAGER
Primary Duties: Responsible for the development, implementation and tracking of metrics for the section's inspection and audit programs that reside in the Sterile Area and Secured Area. The conducting of these audits ensure compliance with local and federal regulatory requirements. Will collaborate on the development and implementation of access control processes and procedures while partnering with stakeholders. OPERATIONS SPECIALIST I
The Louisville Airport Authority is seeking motivated individuals for an Operations Specialist I position. This is an entry level position that manages the use of facilities at both of the Authority’s airports. Position assures continuous safety and security compliance with Federal Aviation Regulation (FAR) Parts 77 and 139, Transportation Security Regulation (TSR) Part 1542, in addition to all other applicable statutes, regulations, and requirements. Duties include but are not limited to airfield/facilities inspections for unsafe or non-compliant conditions; monitor two-way radio communication, flight operations statuses, work order requests, security access control, CCTV systems etc. Additional duties are issuing airport ID media and providing fingerprinting services; implementing the Authority’s Snow/Ice Control Plan (SICP) and Wildlife Hazard Management Plan; supporting emergency responders during airport incidents; coordinating and monitoring airport construction activities; providing high levels of customer service in responding to questions and inquiries from the public, airport stakeholders, and/or governmental regulatory agencies.
