ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF AIRPORT PLANNING & DEVELOPMENT
The proponent will effectively manage a staff comprised of Department of Aviation and consultant project management, construction, and administrative personnel, whose primary objective is to design, build, and maintain airport facilities in a safe and efficient manner. Specifically, the individual will be responsible for implementing airfield projects, roadway projects, and a variety of smaller projects primarily through the Department’s Managing General Contractors program under the direction of the Director of Airside/Landside/Cargo. Typical project value ranges between $1-50 million. The individual provides day-to-day guidance to staff members on project-related issues as well as addresses administrative management functions (i.e., approvals for travel requests, leave requests, etc.). The Manager of Environmental Compliance position is responsible for ensuring compliance with all environmental regulatory requirements related to federal, state, and local laws, rules and ordinances, applicable to the City of Atlanta, Department of Aviation (DOA) operations. AIRPORT PLANNING MANAGER, SR.

MAINTENANCE LEADER
