PACIFIC SPACEPORT COMPLEX - ALASKA(PSCA) SPACEPORT MANAGER
The PSCA Spaceport Manager is responsible to provide senior management of all spaceport facility operations and coordination of site staff to support launch operations. The role is similar to an Airport Manager at a traditional airport. The PSCA Spaceport Manager oversees operations of all spaceport departments and the role is multi-faceted and vital to space launch safety. A successful candidate will apply airport management best practices to the emerging sector of commercial spaceports. Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the spaceport within the authority vested through the spaceport owner and in compliance with FAA CFR Title 14, Chapter III, Parts 400 to 600. Directs and supervises assigned spaceport facilities, engineering, maintenance, logistics, and custodial staff. Supports the administrative and technical requirements to ensure employees have sufficient resources to perform assigned duties. Manages all budget, fiscal, audit and capital functions in coordination with company requirements.

Ensures compliance with TSRs, FARs, county ordinances and lease provisions. Assesses airfield conditions, records discrepancies, and arranges corrective actions. Responds to emergency situations and implements contingency plans. Effective communications, oral and written, required. Education and experience equivalent to Bachelor's Degree in Airport Management, Business Administration, Aeronautical Engineering or related field, and minimum one (1) year airport management experience at Part 139 certificated airport.
