MANAGER, FLYING CLUBS INITIATIVE
The manager of AOPA’s flying clubs initiative is responsible for providing project execution in all areas related to AOPA’s program to grow and sustain existing flying clubs, and to establish new clubs. This position reports to the Director of Flying Clubs, and is based in Frederick, MD. The manager provides resources, knowledge and assistance to the wider “You Can Fly” team, and works closely with the AOPA ambassadors to ensure that they have the necessary materials and support to start, grow and sustain flying clubs, nationwide. Maintenance and execution of all aspects of AOPA’s Flying Club Initiative, to include but not limited to: Flying club web content and publishing Club Finder and related data in the club directory Event planning and coordination Resource library Legal assistance

AIRPORT OPERATIONS/FIRE FIGHTER 1
This position is an entry to journey level Airport Fire Fighter; exists to provide Airport Maintenance Operations. Will provide some Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) services to the Grand Canyon National Park Airport as required by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)Duties include but are not limited to:Approximately 80% of time required to do airport maintenance operations:** Airport security; inspect and repair airfield lighting systems; signage; weed control and wildlife management; snow removal.** Facilities/housing maintenance such as property and building maintenance, inspections and repairs.** Occasionally provides first responder and firefighting services on any and all emergencies to outlying areas around and near the airport and assists the National Forest fire emergencies. ** Responsible for other airport operational duties as assigned.
