The Grand Forks Regional Airport Authority is seeking qualified candidates for the position of ARFF/Operations Specialist. This position performs Aircraft Rescue Firefighting (ARFF) and Emergency Medical Service duties, FAR Part 139 duties associated with airport operations, TSA security responsibilities, attends mandatory fire and medical training, and assists with skilled tasks related to airfield, facilities and ground maintenance. Operations SpecialistResponsible for overseeing day to day operations of a regional non-hub commercial services airport to ensure activities conform to Federal Aviation Regulation (CFR) Part 139, Transportation Security Regulation (TSR) 1542, and Federal, State, local and Airport rules/regulations.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Airport Management or related field.Preferred current experience in operations of CFR Part 139 Airport and TSR 1542 compliance. Must obtain a Louisiana driver’s license within forty-five (45) days of employment and have a good driving record.Prefer possession of Certified Member (CM) with the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE), experience with Flight Training, and/or Airport Certified Employee (ACE) designation.
