CLASS SUMMARY: Leadership level technical and compliance driven position that maintains airport safety, security and operational efficiency. AIRPORT OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR
The Santa Barbara Airport is excited to announce a newly approved Airport Operations Supervisor position that will be added management team. This position is responsible for the Airport's compliance under FAR Part 139, TSR Part 1542, and associated technical projects. The incumbent will oversee Division work activities, provide training to Airport/tenant employees, lead the Noise Advisory Program, and serve as an Airport Security Coordinator. Supervise staff responsible for the FAR Part 139 Self-Inspection Program and the Operations Center. Respond to Airport emergencies; administer service contracts; maintain manuals such as the ACM, ASP, AEP, and Minimum Standards; administer the budget and performance measures; present reports and other correspondence to the Commission and public; act as liaison with FAA, TSA, ARFF, and airport tenants; and assist the Operations Manager.
