AIRPORT DIRECTOR
The City of Shelbyville is accepting applications for the full-time position of Municipal Airport Director. The Airport Director will be responsible for the management of all Airport operations, facilities, and Airport properties owned and operated by the City. Duties also include long-term planning for Airport improvements. The ideal candidate will have graduated from an accredited four year college or university with a degree in aviation, political science, business, or related field. EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
The Executive Director for Grand Junction Regional Airport Authority (GJT) is accountable to and executes the policies established by the Airport Authority Board; including all strategic, financial, marketing and operational goals and strategies. The position's responsibilities include developing and implementing systems and processes that will facilitate the Board of Commissioners in their decision-making process; monitoring and executing all financial activities for the successful operation of the Airport; development and execution of short-and long-range airport business plans; and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the Airport and all related activities. The successful candidate will have a four-year degree from an accredited college in business, finance or aviation management and will have a minimum of five years of progressive management responsibilities and experience.
