This role of Project Engineer is responsible for preparation of detailed design for airside and landside airport infrastructure and development projects. Additionally, this individual will be accountable for developing concepts, preliminary design reports, technical memorandums, developing technical specifications and final construction documents for a variety of unique projects. DUTY MANAGER, OPERATIONS
Position Overview: The Duty Manager, Operations is responsible for overseeing and managing the 24/7 day-to-day operation of Terminal 4, including the airfield, terminal, and landside. This role ensures that the terminal operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations. The Duty Manager, Operations serves as the primary point of contact for information regarding safety, security, compliance, construction, airlines, passengers, tenants, and airport stakeholders. This includes managing irregular operations (IROPS), emergency situations, and all other operational functions. In the absence senior leadership, the Duty Manager is responsible for all terminal activities and decision making until senior leadership is contacted or arrives to Terminal 4. FLSA Status: Exempt

ASSISTANT AIRPORT PUBLIC SAFETY AND SECURITY MANAGER
Assists department manager in day-to-day safety and security of Milwaukee County's airports. Aids in ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations for safety and security of aircraft, passengers, airport patrons, employees and facilities. Provides continuity of operations in absence of department manager. Develops and supervises audit and inspection program. Update and maintain airport's TSA-Approved Security Program (ASP). Develops procedures to ensure each function complies with appropriate regulatory requirements and personnel are trained in the ASP. Develop and implement policies. Develops procedures for airport construction, VIP visits, special events to ensure that all safety and security protocols are addressed and maintained. Develop Changed Condition amendments to ASP regarding such events. Responds to emergencies of various types that impact safety/security of the airport Assist with monitoring, inspecting contracts of access control systems, unarmed security guards, Designated Aviation Channeled, identity management and CCTV systems.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, Civil Engineering or related field and three or more years progressively responsible experience in airport management, airline management, airport design or airport project management. AAAE’s Certified Member (CM) status required or ability to obtain within 6 months, a master’s degree, AAE or IAP designation preferred.
