Airport Manager Starting Salary: $53,289 to $58,760 /depending on qualifications Status: Salaried Full-time position with benefits Closing Date: August 28, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. The Opportunity: Tooele County is looking for a highly skilled individual to administer managerial, supervisory and administrative tasks related to the day-to-day business operations of the Tooele County Wendover Airport. This includes oversight of the fixed-based operation, in accordance with the rules, regulations, by-laws, policies and decisions as established and directed by the Airport Director, Airport Board and Tooele County Commission. Located just off I-80 at the edge of the world-famous Bonneville Salt Flats of Utah's west desert, the Wendover Airport is the most original remaining World War II airfield in the U.S. and services military, commercial, and general aviation uses.

AIRPORT OPERATIONS DUTY MANAGER
Conduct Part 139 and daily terminal inspections, document discrepancies and follow-up with appropriate departments to insure timely completion. Conduct daily perimeter inspections for safety and security compliance. Log discrepancies and issue work orders to insure timely completion. Responds to and assists with all Airport emergencies and security issues, including aircraft alerts and medical calls. Complete written reports on all emergencies. Maintain compliance with FAA regulations during an emergency and assist Incident Commander. Assist with the updating of certification and emergency manuals. Make recommendations for policy and procedural changes or additions and communicate them to tenants and other airport departments. Assist in coordinating tenant operational needs with appropriate airport departments. Assist with the issuance and monitoring of airport security badges. Conduct Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) and Air Operations Area (AOA) driver's training courses as needed.

SENIOR MANAGER OF AVIATION PLANNING
Provides managerial and technical oversight of land/facility planning. Ensures accomplishment of government mandated aviation planning requirements. Responsible for the planning and development of airport property, the disposal of property, the procurement of capital project grants and the coordination of capital development. Requires seasoned knowledge of aviation planning principles and techniques. Manages work of subordinates. Interactions require skill in understanding, influencing and persuading people which are important in supervising staff, coordinating the administrative functions and representing the department before regulatory agencies. Work performed following clearly defined management and aviation planning principles. Involves variety of situations requiring the use of judgment in the search for solutions. Work is performed under administrative direction, subject to operating plans, objectives and functional policies, and is reviewed in terms of effectiveness in meeting capital improvement program objectives. DIVISION DIRECTOR 2, AVIATION (TERMINAL OPERATIONS)
Responsible for directing, coordinating and supervising operations and customer services for terminal facilities at Miami International Airport on a twenty-four hour seven-day basis. Responsibilities include; coordinating work with airline station managers and federal agencies, directing constant patrol and inspection of terminal facilities, supervising a twenty-four hour communications center, managing the seamless flow of the passenger journey through the development of customer service initiatives, directing building management activities, overseeing performance of janitorial service agreements and providing for the safety and security of passengers, businesses, and airport and departmental employees. The incumbent exercises considerable independent judgment and technical managerial expertise in directing comprehensive terminal facilities operations to provide for the safety and convenience of passengers and businesses at Miami International Airport. Supervision is exercised through subordinate levels of supervisors over an extensive staff engaged in various phases of terminal operations.

AIRPORT MANAGER
The City of Lebanon, NH seeks an established, well organized, and innovative manager to lead and operate the Lebanon Municipal Airport. The Airport Manager oversee the day-to-day operations of the airport, as well as facilitate and revitalize growth, build strong business and community relations to increase and promote the airport, airline sales; airport hangar purchases, rentals, and leases.
