SENIOR ENVIRONMENTAL SPECIALIST

We are searching for an individual with demonstrated experience and analytical competencies as the Senior Environmental Specialist. The selected individual is a strategic partner on environmental programs, drives a culture of sustainability, environmental accountability, and: Job Requirements: Oversees, implements and contributes to the planning of environmental programs related to integrated pest management, asbestos/lead/mold abatement, indoor air quality, hazardous materials, site assessment, water quality, solid waste, or other areas of assigned specialty. Interprets and ensures the compliance of programs with laws, regulations, permits and organizational initiatives; collaborates and maintains visibility on environmental programs with tenants, internal stakeholders, public and regulatory agencies. Leads and completes environmental programs review, self-compliance audits, licensing and permitting activities; leads processes to mitigate environmental risks on projects. Partners as a resource on program issues, compliance, inspections, investigations, citations and incident management; completes and oversees studies, sampling, programs performance and recommends corrective efforts. Leads reporting process and studies; tracks trends, compiles and communicates data and information; participates in promotional and outreach activities; develops and presents learning plans and information; facilitates participation in program initiatives and responds to inquiries. Manages projects, timelines, specifications, bid documents, agreements and consultant services deliverables; participates in design and tracks objectives, program plans, policies, operating and administrative procedures, records, metrics, financial, reports, costs, budgetary projections and expenditures; identifies efficiency of programs and service level targets. OPERATIONS SUPPORT ANALYST
Works under the general supervision of the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Performs strategy formulation and in-depth data analysis in support of the operations of the Airports Authority. Duties include process analysis, analytics, research, and industry benchmarking. Also prepares briefings for senior management and the Board, writes research papers. Assists the COO and other key Airports Authority decision-makers assess the current state of the Airports Authority’s operations (Airports and Public Safety). Assesses the internal/ external dynamics and other factors to make forecasts, identify desired end state and develop and implement the ways and means to reach it. Conducts process analyses of airport operations to investigate operations and functions that can be streamlined and improved. AIRFIELD OPERATIONS SPECIALIST
Under direct supervision of the Airport Operations Superintendent and Operations Supervisor, this position is responsible for the administrative and professional work assisting in the day-to-day airport operations and managing the use of airport facilities in accordance with established policies and procedures. Position assures continuous safety and security compliance with Federal Aviation Regulation (FAR) Parts 77 and 139, Transportation Security Regulation (TSR) Part 1542, in addition to all other applicable statutes, regulations and requirements. Duties include periodic, daily, and continuous airfield and facilities inspections for unsafe or non-compliant conditions; actively monitoring flight operations statuses, weather, work order requests and local air traffic (ATC) radio communications. Coordinating and monitoring airport construction activities; providing high levels of customer service in responding to questions and inquiries from the public, airport stakeholders, and/or governmental regulatory agencies. Job Requirements: Knowledge, Abilities and Skills Knowledge of operations, services and activities of airfield grounds and maintenance programs. Knowledge of materials, methods, practices and equipment used in airfield maintenance, construction and repair activities. Must be well-versed in applicable federal laws, codes, regulations and guidelines pertaining to airfield signs, markings and lighting. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Airport or Aviation/Aerospace Management, Aviation/Aerospace Science, Business or Public Administration, or closely related field combined with a minimum of one (1) year of experience in airport operations or administration, or in a position with direct aviation relevance highly desirable. Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. Possession of, or ability to obtain a valid Alabama driver’s license and be insurable. Prior experience with a Fixed Base Operator (FBO), airline, air cargo carrier, airfield maintenance, and/or airport emergency services, and possession of a Private Pilot Certificate is desirable. Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office. Environmental & Physical Requirements Must adapt to changing working environments and inclement weather conditions. Effectively deal with personal danger which may include exposure to high electrical voltage, working around light and heavy machinery and exposure to the noise of a flight line environment. C TOWER RAMP CONTROLLER/INTERNATIONAL OPERATIONS COORDINATOR
Ramp Controller The role of this entry level position is to control ramp operations for ramps 3 and 4 at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport through the performance of a variety of duties as dictated by operational requirements that include; providing commercial pilots with pushback and taxi instructions through a VHF frequency; actively interact with FAA personnel to determine RNAV runway assignments and configurations; assure compliance with minimum standards and regulations relating to all tenants including airline and ramp procedures. International Operations Coordinator The role of this entry level position is to assist with coordinating the daily international/domestic common-use operations on Concourse D, Concourse E and International Terminal F. While this position is more of a landside operations position, providing ramp control services on International Ramp 9 is also a required function of this position. Must be able to obtain a Customs and Border Protection Seal to be eligible for position.
