08/20/18 ASSISTANT AIRPORT MANAGER Under the general supervision of the airport manager, plans, organizes and directs the day-to-day operations of the MBS International Airport. Direct supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor and the ARFF/Operations Supervisor. Responsible for writing and maintaining the Airport Certification Manual and the Airport Security Plan. Liaison with State and Federal aviation officials. Also responsible for the airport height zoning and DBE programs. Graduation from college or university with four-year degree in airport administration or related field. Minimum of five years progressively responsible experience in airport management with thorough knowledge of laws, rules and regulations related to the operation of a Part 139 airport. AAAE accreditation required within 24 months of hire date. Salary $79,250 - $86,875 Depending on qualifications. Strong benefit package.
