SENIOR AIRPORT OPERATIONS OFFICER
The Certification and Operations Division of the Santa Barbara Airport is currently recruiting for a Senior Airport Operations Specialist. The Senior Airport Operations Specialist serves, on a 24x7 rotating shift basis, as the Airport's central point of contact for Airport tenants and outside agencies, as well as the primary point of contact for coordination and supervision in the Airport Operations Center (AOC). This position assists the Airport Operations Supervisor with duties and special projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in FAR Part 139 compliance; TSR Part 1542 compliance; operations services and activities of an airport, as well as operational characteristics of airport security and communications equipment. FBO GENERAL MANAGER - AVIATION SERVICES - CRW
The Central West Virginia Airport Authority is seeking an FBO General Manager–Aviation Services to apply the principles of management to all aspects of aviation services to oversee and provide superior customer services for all based, arriving, and departing aircraft. The position will be trained to perform all functions required to be provided through the FBO and to perform general supervision and coordinate all aircraft services to be provided to based and transient customers. The successful candidate will have knowledge and experience in ground handling, commercial airline handling, fueling operations and management, scheduling, staffing/cost control principles, fueling processes and fuel system management. Additionally, the candidate should have the ability to analyze financial data, fuel data, demand projection, and deal with based and transient aircraft customer service issues as they arise. MANAGER OF DOWNTOWN AIRPORT
Shreveport Downtown Airport is a general aviation airport with more than 150 based aircraft and over 42,000 aircraft operations in 2019. The Manager of Downtown Airport will be tasked with overseeing landside and airside activities to ensure compliance with FAA safety rules and regulations. Performs airfield safety inspections; responds to airport emergencies; oversees all airfield construction; manages airport maintenance activities; coordinates the removal of wildlife from the airport and instructs tenants, employees and contractors concerning airport gate access procedures and ground vehicle operation policies. AIRPORT OPERATIONS SPECIALIST
Airport Operations Specialist is a dynamic and challenging position. Under the supervision of the Deputy Commissioner of Aviation, they have general oversight of the Airport. An individual assigned to this position has rotating shift responsibility and learns to monitor and control airport use and to respond to real or potential emergency situations. Work follows closely prescribed Federal, State and local laws and regulations, though considerable initiative may be required in unusual situations. Assistance for difficult or unusual situations will be provided by senior airport operations employees. Work is reviewed through training exercises, conferences and analysis of reports. Does related work as required. General knowledge of FAR Part 139 Airports, ARFF Index B Airports, and snow removal procedures suggested.
