DIRECTOR OF AIRPORT OPERATIONS
Director, Airport Operations The salary for this position is $82,300 - $109,700 This position will expire on September 11, 2019 General Description: Effectively directs, manages, supervisors and coordinates the programs and activities of the Airport Operations division. Develops and oversees the day-to-day execution of assigned work plan, strategic planning, budget, staffing and performance output. Creates and oversees the division’s goals and deliverables. Maintains complete accountability for performance objectives to ensure full compliance with regulatory, CODE and SOP requirements. Supervision Received: With limited supervision, this position works independently and attends regular meetings with senior leadership, airport stakeholders and government agencies. Direction received focuses on strategic objectives and is typically collaborative in nature. This position recommends policy and would be considered “upper-middle” management.

DEPUTY FIRE CHIEF, AIRCRAFT RESCUE FIRE FIGHTING UNIT
The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey seeks highly skilled and experienced professionals for the position of Deputy Fire Chief, Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighting Unit at our New Jersey Airports. Reporting to the Fire Chief, ARFF, the candidates selected will exercise full-scope, day-to-day operational command of John F. Kennedy International Airport ARFF Unit. The individual will be expected to serve under Unified Command as the Command for ARFF; meet Part 139 ARFF requirements in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airport Certification Standards and other federal, state and local laws; operate their unit in an effective and cost-efficient manner; develop strong interagency and private-sector partnerships for the purpose of achieving a maximally efficient aircraft firefighting structure; and command, motivate, inspire, and maintain proper order and discipline among subordinates.
