ASSISTANT AIRPORTS MANAGER
The City of Redding is seeking a highly qualified and motivated individual to manage, direct and coordinate the activities of Redding Municipal Airport operations, maintenance, janitorial, and administrative staff; perform professional and administrative work related to the planning, directing, and management of airport operations activities; and provide highly complex staff assistance to the Airports Manager. Duties include: Prepare/maintain airport operations, security, and emergency procedures manuals; assist in preparation/development of policies and procedures; oversee policies, procedures and schedules to ensure the airport is operated and maintained in accordance with Federal, State, and local regulations; coordinate with City Fire Department regarding aircraft rescue and firefighting procedures; manage the airport's NOTAM program; oversee preparation for obtaining grants and/or low interest loans, Federal and State funding; assist with the preparation of the annual Airports budget and work plan. interact with the Federal Aviation Administration and Transportation Security Administration as required.

PLANNING, PROGRAMMING, DESIGN, ENGINEERING & CONSTRUCTION DIRECTOR
Responsible for leading the Airport’s planning, programming, design, engineering, and construction group which directs a broad range of planning and programming issues, including land use and master planning, programming, grounds and facilities development standards, landscape design, transportation planning, resource allocation oversight, and facilities assessments. The Director provides strategic and physical planning and programming at the Airport and ensures that all projects support the goals of the Airport and support the highest physical potential of the Airport’s facilities and grounds. The Director provides leadership across a broad spectrum of operations, including the full range of planning, programming, engineering and architecture functions and services of the organization, which includes control of facilities and infrastructure. Includes airport master planning and may include many other functions, such as airspace planning, maintenance engineering and environmental engineering, plus repair and rehabilitation projects.
