MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER
This position will ensure all marketing and communication efforts focus on increasing passenger growth while supporting and enhancing the Airport’s brand. Working closely with the Director of Commercial Development, along with external partners, the role will craft and implement cohesive strategies to position the Ford Airport as the premier gateway to West Michigan. Using an integrated communication approach, the position will explore and deploy tactics that increase the number of passengers who choose Ford Airport to fly. A strong background in both traditional and digital media is a must as this role will be responsible for overseeing content for both public and internal initiatives. Utilizing media relations, social media, web presence, digital and traditional advertising, among other new and emerging media, the role should be able to effectively tell the Airport’s story to stakeholders, including guests, executive leadership and Board members, government officials, community members, business and other stakeholders.

AIRPORT PROPERTY PROGRAM MANAGER
The Airport Properties Program Manager will analyze, develop, manage, and administer business development for the airport under the Tenant Revenue Management & Business Development Division. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with the Airport’s business development team to attract and administer new business opportunities to AUS. This position will report to the Division Manager for Tenant Revenue Management and Business Development. The successful candidate will be responsible for the creation of new agreements/permits/licenses/concession agreements/contracts, etc., to facilitate operations at the Airport. A solid understanding of the full contractual life cycle of administering agreements is paramount. The successful candidate will also develop, draft, and administer revenue generating solicitations and request for proposals intended to provide the traveling public with a variety of goods and services, produce a strong financial return for the Airport, and create potential opportunities for new businesses.

AIRPORT OPERATIONS COORDINATOR
The Connecticut Airport Authority (CAA), is a State of Connecticut quasi-public agency that was established to develop, improve and operate Bradley International Airport, including five General Aviation Airports (Danielson, Groton-New London, Hartford-Brainard, Waterbury-Oxford and Windham Airports). The CAA is now accepting applications for two (2) full-time, first shift Airport Operation Coordinators. These 40 hours per week positions are accountable for supervising the office and operational activities at assigned airports. The first position is at the Waterbury-Oxford General Aviation Airport, located in Oxford, CT. This position also oversees daily operations at the Hartford-Brainard Airport. The second position is located at the Groton-New London Airport in Groton, CT. This is a Part 139 certified airport. Work may be required on nights, holidays and weekends. There is a mandatory winter assignment from November 1st through April 30th, and snow removal can last for several days and nights. In-state travel is required.

ARFF/OPERATIONS TECHNICIAN
Performs duties associated with daily operation of airport facilities, maintains a safe environment for aircraft and the general public on an assigned shift, including nights, weekends, and holidays; responds to aircraft emergencies; provides aircraft rescue and firefighting services; performs emergency medical treatment. Performs airfield operations duties per 14 CFR Part 139 regulations. Performs perimeter and facility security, parking enforcement and other airport security related issues. Monitors runway conditions for snow and ice contamination. Initiates and conducts airside and landside snow removal. Minimum High School diploma or GED. Associate or Bachelor’s degree in aviation preferred. One to two years of progressively responsible related experience in aviation, safety, security, firefighting, or a combination of education training and experience to perform the position duties and responsibilities.

OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR
Under direction of Operations Management, provides day-to-day oversight of Airport Operations programs in any of the following areas/sections: Emergency Planning, Airfield Operations, Wildlife Management, General Aviation Administration Operations, and Terminal Management Operations. Operations Supervisors also assist other airport departments with the following: Emergency Planning, Noise Rules Compliance, Airport Security Compliance, Airport Badging, Airport Communications Center, Ground Transportation (GT) Administration Operations, Parking Facilities Operations, Shuttle Bus Operations, and Environmental Enforcement. The Operations Supervisor functions as the airport Manager-on-Duty while on shift during nights, weekends, and holidays.
