AIRPORT OPERATIONS AND SECURITY COORDINATOR
Under the direction of the Operations Supervisor, this position performs a wide range of operational and administrative duties to help provide a safe, secure, and efficient airport operation at the Magic Valley Regional Airport. This position acts as the TSA designated Airport Security Coordinator to maintain airport security requirements regulated by Code of Federal Regulation (CFR) 1542 and FAA operational requirements under CFR part 139. This position provides operational airfield and terminal services including conducting airport operations and security trainings, assisting in the planning, organizing, and maintenance of the Certification Manual, Security Program and Emergency Plan, as well as assisting with the Wildlife Hazard Management and Snow and Ice Control programs. Communication and customer service duties include acting as a liaison with tenants, state, and federal law enforcement agencies and reporting airfield/airport conditions. ASSISTANT AIRPORT MANAGER
Assistant Airport Manager Salary: Minimum - $52,457 - Midpoint - $65,571 - Maximum - $78,686 Deadline: September 27, 2019. (Applications will be considered prior to deadline). Location: Columbus, Indiana Essential Duties: •As the Wildlife Hazard Coordinator, is responsible for training and mitigating wildlife hazards by conducting wildlife dispersal activities; maintaining various wildlife devices; and acquiring proper permits for wildlife depredation, etc. •Maintains accurate airfield inspection, airport condition reporting, and wildlife mitigation records. Ensure airfield is in compliance with Airport Certification Manual and recommend changes and updates as necessary. •Ensures airport compliance with the Federal Aviation Administration Part 139. •Assists with the Columbus Fire Department ARFF personnel to ensure Part 139 Compliance •Acts as quality control and inventory manager in the performance of the self-fueling facility •Graduation from an accredited four year university with a degree in aviation management. 2-5 years of experience in the aviation management field is preferred.

JOB SUMMARY: Under general direction, is responsible for performing administrative professional work coordinating projects and activities between various divisions, departments, public agencies, and private sector representatives. Working conditions are primarily in an office environment. May exercise supervision over assigned staff. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Implements TSA Regulations and Security Directives (SDs).
