AIRPORT MANAGEMENT INTERN
The Eagle County Regional Airport (EGE) is offering a nine month airport management internship. This internship is an excellent opportunity to develop hands on day-to-day experience at a commercial airport. The commitment is not to be an observer, but to study and understand the principles and objectives inherent in the world of aviation and airport management. The Eagle County Regional Airport is a vital economic engine for Eagle County and surrounding mountain communities. The Airport is largely seasonal with the majority of flights scheduled during the winter months due to the Airport's proximity to world class ski resorts. The internship is nine months in duration working normal business hours. Two weeks of unpaid time will be provided during the internship. Interns are not eligible for Eagle County benefits.

CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATOR(S) - ON CALL

We are looking to hire an on-call construction administrator(s) to work with our aviation group. Responsibilities include construction administration on airfield pavement and electrical systems aviation projects; coordination of survey work and materials testing; representing the owner in monitoring construction activities for compliance with plans and specifications; assisting with progress meetings. The ability to pass security screening at air carrier airports, overnight stays and travel will be required. This hours for this position could vary weekly from zero to 40, and potentially sometimes more than 40. This position will be located at various project sites around Michigan and possibly other locations; it is currently an on-call (i.e., no benefits) position which could potentially be converted to a regular, benefits-eligible position.

AIRPORT OPERATIONS SPECIALIST
The duties and responsibilities for the position of Airfield Operations Specialist (AOS) but is not limited to such description. Under the direction of the Airfield Operations Managers, the AOS performs liaison work with the FAA, Airport Tenants and WCAA personnel. Inspects Airport Facilities and equipment for FAR Part 139 compliance (Airport Safety Self-Inspection), safety, and security, in accordance with governing criteria. The AOS works on and around the Airport including the Airport Operations Area, terminals, dispatch center and various Airport assets. This position is a 24/7/365-day operation which includes weekends, holidays and overtime. Overtime may be required.
