AIRPORT OPERATIONS OFFICER
This position works under and reports to the Assistant Airport Manager follows established guidelines and procedures to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the airport and the surrounding airport facilities. •Update and maintain all required pertinent records on the computer based Airport Operations Daily Log. •Responsible for maintaining the airport safety and security under FAR Part 139 and reporting any discrepancies to the Airport Operations Supervisor. •Qualify as an Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighter (ARFF) and drive and operate specialized ARFF vehicles for response to all aircraft alerts and emergencies. •Ability to drive and operate all major airport operations vehicles and snow removal equipment during Winter Snow Operations. Perform tasks at the Snow Command Desk, file Notices to Airmen (NOTAM’s), Airfield Self Inspections, and update airfield conditions reports on computer based programs. •Upon qualifying in USDA Wildlife Hazardous Management Training Program, perform wildlife mitigation services on airport operating areas.

AIRPORT ADMINISTRATION MANAGER
The Palm Springs International Airport Administration Manager position is responsible for planning, managing, coordinating, and overseeing the activities and administration of property management and lease compliance functions; administering and retaining departmental records and data; enforcing lease terms and conditions; coordinating leases with tenants; performing records management administration; coordinating airport grants and Capital Improvement Plans; coordinating the Airport's budget processes; and providing highly responsible and complex administrative support. •5 years of increasingly responsible experience in the field of airport administration including 2 years of administrative and supervisory responsibility is required. •Short and long term capital and operating budget project management experience is preferred. •A Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in finance administration, accounting, business administration, public administration is required. •Training on local laws and regulations as they relate to the construction of airport facilities is preferred.

PRINCIPAL ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN
One full-time position available. Normal Work Days/Hours: Monday- Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. This is a supervisory position within the Computer Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) section, with responsibility for maintaining and updating documents/information for both Charles B Wheeler downtown airport and Kansas City International Airports, such as: Airport Base Files; Airport Layout Plans; Airport Certification Manual (ACM) Drawings; Airfield Marking, Signage and Lighting Plans; Terminal Building Lease Space Drawings; Property Lease Drawings; Capital Improvement Programs (CIP) Drawings. Maintains and updates Airfield drawings for Operations division, Utility maps and files, and internal/external Access Control Files. Provides drawings and exhibits for Commercial Development division, Operations division, and MKC staff. Assists with the integration of BIM/REVIT files for the new terminal building project.
