DEPUTY COMMISSIONER OF AVIATION
BGM is looking for a highly motivated, innovative, and experienced individual to fill the Deputy Commissioner of Aviation position. This individual should be a self-starter that can anticipate problems, create and carryout plans, and to increase or maintain efficiency at the airport and within the staff. The work involves the safe operation, oversight, and maintenance of the airport and its property. The incumbent assists the Commissioner of Aviation in all administrative, maintenance, and safety operations of the airport. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Commissioner. Thorough knowledge of commercial airport operations, FAA regulations, AIP and DOT funded projects, is highly recommended. SENIOR MANAGER OF PROPERTIES
The Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority (RTAA) is seeking an individual with comprehensive airport property management experience to join our Airport Economic Development (AED) team as the Senior Manager of Properties. This position is a key member of the AED team, managing and overseeing a comprehensive property management and tenant relations program including airlines, concessions, GA and government, to enhance and diversify revenue and passenger experience. This position reports and provides highly responsible and complex staff assistance to the VP of AED, and is responsible for managing the day-to-day activities and directing the work of staff. The nature of the position requires the ability to lead, develop and manage a team of professional personnel; the ability to develop plans and achieve goals; the ability to analyze problems, project consequences, identify alternatives, and implement solutions in support of the AED’s goals, objectives and initiatives; and the ability to establish and foster effective relationships.
