AIRPORT ENGINEER, SENIOR
Provides high level engineering technical expertise and management in electrical engineering for the Engineering Unit of the Planning & Development organization within Department of Aviation (DOA). Manages and organizes resources to accomplish specific task assignments in the areas of project management, design and design management. This is a fully seasoned professional level capable of independently carrying out most assignments typical of the profession. This level would be attainable by multiple incumbents in a work group (not necessarily by all), but would not be an "automatic" promotional level.

MANAGER OF PLANNING
Responsible for managing airport planning activities with all aspects of airport development, infrastructure and land use needs including preparation and update of demand/capacity analysis,airfield and terminal planning, facility requirements, alternatives analysis, capital improvement layout plans, future land acquisition and disposition, and Geographical Information Systems (GIS) program expansion. Directs, manages, and advises on the Airport Master Plan. Bachelor’s Degree/Equivalent in Aviation Planning, Transportation Planning, or related quantitative disciplines. Certified American Association of Certified Planners (AICP); Certified Member (C.M.) and/or Accredited Airport Executive (A.A.E.) designation preferred. Requires 5 years experience in Planning, Geography, Environmental Sciences, Architecture, and/or Engineering. Demonstrated supervisory/management experience. Knowledge of airport operations, Federal Aviation Regulations, FAA Advisory Circulars, airport design standards, GIS platforms and electronic drafting tools and/or systems. OPERATIONS DUTY MANAGER
Under the supervision of the Operations and Maintenance Manager, the Duty Manager is responsible for ensuring that each facet of the operation performs as intended, that the operation is staffed sufficiently with appropriately trained personnel - Supervisors, Coordinators, Controllers, Security and Utility Agents - and that employees are provided with proper training, tools, uniforms and other resources needed to carry out their duties. Related administrative tasks and other assigned duties are also performed. The position requires the exercise of discretion and independent judgment, as well as a creative approach to formulating responses and making recommendations regarding changes in company policy and/or procedures, as required. Operations are dynamic and situations may require immediate attention. This position has high exposure to the public and requires a professional approach and demeanor under all conditions. It also requires a genuine willingness to assist persons with a wide range of requests and needs.
