AIRPORT OPERATIONS OFFICER
Interprets and enforces federal, state, local rules and regulations applicable to airport operations; responds to emergencies; compiles/monitors flight schedules and coordinates them with air carriers; monitors aircraft operations. Performs airfield, terminal and landside inspections as required by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA); ensures Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) and lease agreement compliance; responds to tenants/public inquiries and complaints; prepares related reports; works under the general direction of the Manager of Airport Operations and is reviewed via personal consultation, written reports and conferences. DEPUTY AIRPORT DIRECTOR
The City of Lynchburg is seeking a dynamic leader who will play a vital role in the day-to-day management of Lynchburg Regional Airport. Under the general supervision of the Airport Director, the Deputy Airport Director acts as the Chief Operating Officer and performs complex technical and responsible senior-level management oversight of Lynchburg Regional Airport, and is directly responsible for the daily operations, maintenance, custodial, FAR Part 139 certification, TSA Part 1542 security and related administrative functions of the airport. The selected candidate will act as project director on assigned federal, state and local capital projects and serve as liaison to engineers, inspectors and contractors. The Deputy Airport Director will also coordinate and assist in the integration of operations and maintenance functions with the airport ARFF and police departments. Will also serve as Acting Airport Director in the absence of the Airport Director.

MANAGER, TERMINAL AND LANDSIDE FACILITIES
Under the direction of the Director of Maintenance, this highly responsible position. Oversees a forty plus person facilities maintenance team providing 24/7 coverage for the operations and maintenance of MNAA facilities. Directs and coordinates all phases of civil airport facilities, roads, parking lots, utilities, terminal, buildings, non-airside infrastructure, and equipment maintenance, as well as snow and ice removal through subordinate supervisory staff and contractors; Develops a maintenance organization consisting of skilled technicians and support staff to carry out the responsibilities and duties of the maintenance function;Plans and schedules routine, preventive maintenance functions for all airport facilities, including buildings and associated equipment and systems (i.e., HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, building structure, fire alarm, public address, energy management control, etc.), landside pavement, roads, utilities, etc.

MANAGER, AIRSIDE FACILITIES
Under the direction of the Director of Maintenance, this highly responsible position oversees a twenty-five plus person maintenance team providing 24/7 on-call coverage for the operations and maintenance of the MNAA airfield and mobile equipment fleet. Directs and coordinates all phases of civil airport field infrastructure, roads, parking lots, utilities, airside infrastructure, and mobile equipment maintenance, as well as snow and ice removal through subordinate supervisory staff and contractors; Develops a maintenance organization consisting of skilled technicians and support staff to carry out the responsibilities and duties of the airside maintenance functions; Oversees the maintenance and repair of airport runways, taxiways, grounds, lighting systems, drainage systems, runway/taxiway markings, pavement surfaces, joint repairs, security gates, fencing, vehicles, and related equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
