AAAE's position open advertising provides a valuable service to AAAE members, and all revenue the association receives from classified advertising goes directly to the AAAE Foundation. The Foundation has awarded more than 2,700 scholarships totaling $4.25 million since 1989.

09/18/20 LOCAL GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS PROGRAM MANAGER Purpose of this position is to work directly with the Chief Officer of Administration and External Affairs by providing oversight and management of the government affairs program. Responsible for supporting the requirements of the Department of Aviation in the representation of the interests and positions of AUS to the Airport Advisory Commission, City Management, City Council, other governmental entities, other citizen commissions, trade/community organizations, and customers. Assists with the management and coordination of economic development activities and initiatives. Responsible for research and documentation preparation for presentations/publications. Reviews and monitors governmental legislation/reports/information and effectively communicates results/decisions. Assists with the preparation of reports/briefings and provides coordination for the Chief Officer of Administration and External Affairs as may be required to address a request for information from the Airport Advisory Commission, City Management, other City Departments, and City Council.
