REGIONAL AIRPORT MANAGER
Triangle North Executive Airport (LHZ), a general aviation airport, is located 30 miles north of Raleigh, NC. Located in Louisburg, NC, LHZ is owned/operated by Franklin County, NC. Responsibilities: administration, operational maintenance, and supervision of the County’s airport. Work: planning; budgeting; and supervising staff in performing refueling, security/storage of aircraft, flight communications, customer relations/services, and maintenance of runways/buildings/grounds/hangars/instrument landing system. DIRECTOR, EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT
Reports to the Assistant Vice President, Public Safety - Chief of Police, and has direct oversight of the MNAA Emergency Operations Center (EOC) and Airport Communication Center (ACC). Performs diverse, specialized and complex work involving significant accountability and decision-making responsibility in the field of emergency management. Plans, organizes, administers, oversees and supervises the operation of the communications and emergency dispatch systems, including equipment maintenance and upgrades, record keeping and quality assurance; analyzes and corrects system problems; manages the effective use of resources to improve organizational productivity and customer service. Supervises staff assigned to the EOC/ACC; Serves as the principal emergency services liaison to other city departments, other governmental agencies (Local, State and Federal), local nonprofit organizations (American Red Cross), private businesses and the community at large;Oversees emergency preparedness training activities including all federal, state and local table top exercise mandates.
